Bio

Steve is an exciting young DJ who has been playing out since the tender age of 16, having spent his early years playing a mixture of Progressive House, Trance and Hard House he then decided to concentrate solely on Hard House. In recent years Steve has played all over the country for some of the biggest Hard Dance nights around including Storm, Polysexual, Sundissential, B2T, Cyberkitten, Housewives Choice and more playing alongside some of the top names in the industry regularly including Andy Farley, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, BK, Tidy Boys and more and has seen his name grow ever popular with the Hard Dance community but recently made the decision to move away from Hard Dance and pursue his love for Techno and Trance.

Over the course of the years Steve had dabbled with the Techno and Trance scenes with sets at local clubs and also two Techno residencies to date, one for Insurrection at The Sanctuary in Birmingham where he played alongside international Techno DJs and more recently for Evolve in the midlands for whom he is still resident for to this day.

Steve’s decision to concentrate on Techno and Trance has been quite fruitful thus far with bookings for Kubik @ Nation alongside Randy Katana and Tylor Leigh, Crasher’s 14th Birthday pre party at The Howard, Peach @ Camden Palace in London and a booking at Classique’s massive 2nd birthday party with Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Riley and Durrant, Paul Kershaw and more already under his belt as well as appearances at many smaller nights around the country this year things are looking good for the midlands based youngster. Steve was also runner up in a recent national DJ competiton ran by Lee Haslam, beating 1000’s of other entries for that position.

Steve’s trance style is unique and easily accessible and has captured audiences nation wide and his adaptability to any dancefloor capturing promoters eyes alike. Steve’s preferred Trance style is energetic and uplifting with smidgens of tech influences for good measure but has shown on many occasion he is more than capable of slowing the pace down and warming up a dancefloor like a true professional.

Steve’s unmistakable style of percussive driving techno has also raised a few eyebrows over the years with his enthusiasm behind the decks and impeccable mixing style he has won over the most purist of crowds. His warm up sets comprising of funky, tribal techno and minimal beats have also been applauded with his smooth and steady approach turning up the heat just when the time is right it is easy why he has gained such popularity wherever he has been.

Steve likes to incorporate the use of fx units into his sets whilst also using extra deck for 3 deck mixing and sampling as well as plenty of other trickery like cutting, chopping, beat juggling and live re-edits to stand out from the crowd and is always looking for something different to take his set to the next level.
