For the past 7 years, Danny Roberts a.k.a Nice Guy Danny has been building up his reputation countrywide by playing club after club making him one of the most promising talents the industry has to offer.

Having started pushing his dj career at various club nights in areas in and around Birmingham, Danny’s status begun a rapid rise amongst the midland clubbers and soon became a regular fixture on the dj circuit. Popular nights such as Fluffy, Cheyenne, Boo! Hard Ground, Spongy, Decks ‘n’ Effects, Submission, Grapefruit Summer Soundsystem Outdoor Festival, Frazzle, Ave It, Excentric, Megahertz, and Buzzin soon became Danny’s hunting ground, earning himself countless guest slots as well as residencies at some of the previously mentioned clubs.

Having firmly made his mark, Danny was instantly picked up by the massively popular Dropzone night, which is run by Charlotte Birch and immediately was made a resident. This then gave him a huge opportunity to showcase his skills and sound to a much larger crowd and some of the countries biggest djs. Danny was proud to share the line up amongst djs such as Andy Farley, Paul Glazby, Ian M, Tidy Boys, Rob Tissera, Illogik, Nick Rafferty, Ed Real and Lee Haslam to name but a few.

Having earned a guest dj slot on Wolverhampton based radio show – Clubbed Up, the producers instantly took to the young talent and offered him a co-presenter slot.

Over the years Danny has now be given the show to present as his own and made in an instant hit not just in the UK but worldwide. Clubbed Up goes out on the Internet every Friday night from 8-10pm at www.wcrfm.com as well as 101.8fm and features the very best in the big named DJs to the finest up and coming talent from through England. On several occasions it has been dubbed, “The hard house version of The Chris Moyles Show” due to the very hilarious conversations and open opinions.

Danny’s sound has developed over the years; today see’s him concentrating on house music and the various forms it comes in. With the hard house scene lacking that fresh new sound that it once had, Danny now prefers to take it down a notch and fill his sets 130 + bpm house music from the deep, dark, twisted minimal and tech house to the more in your face electro trash and breaks which is widely loved and really making a name for itself in 2007. His techno influence that inspired him originally to start Djing will always have some kind of feature in his sets and with the diverse music he offers in his mixes these days, will no doubt play a huge part in his future.

With Danny’s popularity on the radio and in clubs rapidly rising, he’s constantly taking bookings every weekend, countrywide.
